Besides music I sometimes build small tools that solve real problems — here is a selection of my projects.
CableCheck
A menu bar app that answers the eternal question: is it the cable?
CableCheck scans your Thunderbolt and USB ports and shows what every connected device actually negotiated — link speed, power delivery per port, charger and battery details — and can benchmark connected drives to reveal cables that don't deliver what they promise.

FindMiPhone
A one-click dock app that makes your iPhone (or any of your iCloud devices) ring — especially helpful if you've got a lot of iOS devices and the usual way over «Find my» seems too complicated to you (as it does for me). Click the icon, follow the sound.

Audio Modem
Send a small file between two devices as sound — from any loudspeaker (for example your laptop) to any microphone (for example a smartphone): a browser-based acoustic coupler.
Like these tools?
They are for free — but it took quite some time to get them as easy to use as they are now. I wouldn't say no to a coffee's worth of thanks (or more). It also goes towards supporting my music!
